This scholarship has made a big difference in my ability to fund my education and follow my dream of becoming a Naturopathic Physician. Naturopathic medicine supporters from around the country convened on Capitol Hill in May to help members of Congress learn about the benefits of naturopathic medicine and upcoming legislative bills to support the profession.
This year’s annual DC Federal Legislative Initiative (DC FLI) was focused on gaining support for a pilot Medicare demonstration program to examine the clinical and cost-effectiveness of providing naturopathic health care services to Medicare beneficiaries. Nearly 150 participants from 32 states, plus Canada and Puerto Rico, visited 165 Congressional offices, where they gained support for a draft Dear Colleague letter by the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP).
Special grant helps Sprouts Cooking School to teach underprivileged kids how to prepare and cook meals the healthy way with Bragg food products. Thank you, Bragg Health Foundation!
Bragg Scholarship grant makes a big difference in the lives of 10 students attending the 13-week culinary training program at San Diego’s Kitchens For Good. KFG takes a “whole person” approach by incorporating culinary arts, nutrition education, sustainable food systems, resume writing, and financial literacy. All 10 graduates are now employed and working at some of San Diego’s top restaurants.
The Bragg Health Foundation supports all naturopathic medical students attending any of the 9 ND schools in North America. This includes NCNM, Portland OR, Bastyr University, Seattle WA, and San Diego CA, SCNM, Tempe AZ, University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine, Bridgeport CT, Bouche Institute, New Westminster British Columbia, CCNM, Ontario Canada, National University of Health Sciences, Lombard IL, Universidad del Turado, Gurabo PR.
